Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate employee retention problems in PT XYZ Geothermal Indonesia. Retaining qualified employees in a certain specialties and fast- paced work environment is a major struggle in the geothermal industry. Which of these job satisfaction, employee well-being, and organisational climate factors are significantly influence factors to the organisational commitment and the employee retention. The primary data is obtained by using the questionnaires to 65 employees of PT XYZ Geothermal Indonesia. The data is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and statistical analysis to test the hypotheses. Finding of this research is that job satisfaction and employee well-being affect organisational commitment and employee retention. However, organisational climate is found to be the less influence factor in this study.
