Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study and analyse the impact of skill, motivation, and work environment towards productivity in the PT. Global Fashion Garment. The primary data was obtained by using the questionnaires to 150 employees of PT. Global Fashion Garment at Sewing Line. The data is analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM analysis to test the hypotheses). Finding of this research shows that skill and motivation have a significant positive influence towards productivity. Employees with high skill also have high productivity. In contrast, employees with low skill also have low productivity. However, the work environment has not affected productivity of employees in PT. Global Fashion Garment. The physical aspect of work environment in the PT. Global Fashion Garment contributed 55% significant and strong relationship with productivity. Nevertheless, the non-physical aspect represents only 12% of productivity.
