Abstract

The application of automated guided vehicle (AGV) has been expanding in recent years. To accommodate the growing demand for AGV, our team is trying to create automated guided vehicle that is sufficient for industrial purposes. The AGV will have the capability to follow lines, carry load, and stop at designated stations automatically. For this project the guiding methods are color sensing sensors and does not require exclusive lines. Common PLC module provides immediate control over the guiding system and the motor driving. The prototype then will be tested on a line track comparable to the industrial environment. The trial consists of 30 runs of the track both clockwise direction and counter clockwise direction. Although from the 30 runs there were instances when the AGV off track, the trial conducted achieved satisfying results.
