Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to design and construct a system that can be used to perform On Board Diagnostic. To design a system we need to know the hardware will be used and the software to perform the test. The first step is to know what we need and check the engine parameter. We used 16-pin rectangular male On Board Diagnostic port to connect to our device (Laptop, PC, Android, etc). We can compare several of this hardware and several commercial On Board Diagnostic software to be tested and inform the user which is better or best. Finally the system will be tested by an open source program based on c++ programming language.
