Abstract

"Both tourism and lodging industry are developing rapidly in Bali. In 2015, the total accommodation in Bali reaches 2,079. However, there are several negative impact with their development. In order to maintain the natural environment, lodgings in Bali should find a way to make the environment sustainable. This study is conducted to determine whether hotel ecotourism practices have significant impact towards tourism sustainability in Bali. In this case, ‘X’ Hotel is where this study was conducted as ‘X’ Hotel have ecotourism practices in their establishment. This study uses the quantitative approach. Questionnaires are distributed to the employees for data collection. Various test were conducted to obtain the data. The result of this study shows that ‘X’ Hotel ecotourism practices do have a significant impact on tourism sustainability with an impact of 50.9%. This result can show other hotels in Bali that having ecotourism practices do have significant impact on tourism sustainability, specifically for the environment.
