Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide explanation whether operating profitability, operating efficiency, and liquidity have significant relationships toward financial sustainability. Specific financial indicators are used to gauge the strength of the relationship between variables. Operating profitability is measured by operating margin and return on assets (ROA); operating efficiency is represented by inventory turnover, receivables turnover, total assets turnover, and fixed assets turnover; liquidity is determined by current ratio, quick ratio, cash ratio, and net working capital to total assets; and financial sustainability is evaluated by percentage tax paid, gross margin, net income margin, and return on equity (ROE). The data is gathered from consolidated financial statement and will be analyzed further using SPSS and AMOS. From the analysis, it appears that operating profitability weakly influences financial sustainability, operating efficiency has a moderate influence toward financial sustainability; while liquidity strongly influences financial sustainability.
