Abstract

Procurement is an essentials element of good governance. It is at the heart of delivering public services and addressing several social goals. Public procurement is strongly related with key development issues such as economic growth, poverty reduction, and private sector development. Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta, as one of the government institution has to deliver a great value of public services from their procurement activity. Through web crawling the expenditure data acquire from government e-procurement platform. Spend analysis is known as the best tool to provide a better picture of what goods and services that the government spend for. Data mining methodology used to conduct spend analysis in order to gain the spending pattern and useful information from the huge amount of expenditure data sets. The result of spend analysis is useful for the government in terms for evaluating the procurement activity and future management decision.
