Abstract
This Study aims to figure out the impact of working capital management and its components, namely days inventory period, days sales outstanding, days payables outstanding and cash conversion cycle towards listed manufacturing company in Indonesia. The data set consist of 20 firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2012 – 2016. This study use multiple regression analysis to identify the impact of working capital management towards profitability. The result shows that days inventory held, days sales outstanding, and days payables outstanding have negative and significant effect towards profitability. This study also finds that cash conversion cycle have negative impact towards return on asset, however, due to result being insignificant it cannot be justified. The author suggested that firm should properly manage its inventory management, account receivable management and account payable management in order to generate more profit for the company.
