Abstract

Bogor is an area that has a variety of arts and culture, also has an interesting cultural festival to enjoy, which is the Bogor Culture Festival Cap Go Meh. Acculturation of Chinese Culture with the Indonesia community was recorded and manifested in a cultural arts festival known as the Cap Go Meh – Bogor Culture Festival. The aim of this research is to identify the impact of Bogor Culture Festival towards revisit intention. This data is using descriptive and quantitative method. The data were collected from 235 respondents who have visited Bogor Cap Go Meh Festival. On this study, the independent variable (X) was Cultural Event, consisting dimension of Spectacularisation, Theme, Participation and Immersion. The dependent variable (Y) was revisit intention. Data analysis technique was single regressions linear. The result showed that the implementation of Bogor Cultural Festival was assessed in the high category, with a dimension of “Participation and Immersion" received highest score, and the lowest one was the "Spectacularisation".This study provide several suggestion for the event organizer to maintain the existence of the festival and also suggestion for the local government expected to optimize the existing cultural potential and also to cooperate with event organizers in efforts to preserve culture.
