Abstract

Kitabisa.com platform has successful emerged its platform as one of the biggest crowdfunding platforms in Indonesia. The objective of this research is to know what motivation factors that affect future generation’s intention to donate in Kitabisa.com. Some logical frameworks of this research are, such as consumer behavior theory, social problems, crowdfunding and donations. This study used quantitative approach by conducting online surveys of Kitabisa.com donors. The sampling was collected using purposive sampling with 280 respondents who had made donation in Kitabisa.com. The data were analyzed by using multiple regression. To measure two or more independent variables. The result of this study showed that there was impact of factors such as Empathy/Altruism, Gotong-royong (Hand-in-hand) Culture, Brand Trust, Operational Transparency, Ease of Use, and Religiosity 48.7% toward intention to donate. Moreover, this research is going to explore what factors future generation’s motivation is important to increase their intention to donate in the future and also to help Kitabisa.com to able understand about the future generation’s behavior.
