Abstract

As Indonesia is embracing the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the topic of IoT is widely talked about in the engineering world. Various implementations are being tested from using add-on IoT modules to an existing machine, to developing a cloud-based system that could be controlled remotely. For this project, in collaboration with Zapbox, we are creating a smart automated coin exchange system for laundry business. It will be a web application run on Django, connected to an API from a company called Stamps. Hardware will include a Linux based Intel NUC mini PC, an NV10 USB+ bill validator, an Arduino microcontroller, and a coin hopper. The system will work by logging in from Zapbox web application, validating money inserted, and dispensing the coin.
