Abstract
This research analyzes the impact of microfinance institution on the clients living standards that has been joining in the institution for at least two years. the living standards of the clients are being analyzed through three of independent variables, which are health (X1), education (X2) and financial situation (X3). the research also identify which variable that has the most significant impact on the improvement of the living standards of the clients after joining in the microfinance institution and also to identify the perception of the clients towards the microfinance activities. the methods used in this research are descriptive statistics and multiple regressions method, to test both of the independent variables and dependent variables. the result from the coefficient table shown that health and financial situation has a significant impact toward the living standards with the sig value of health is 0.021, and financial situation is 0.000, while the education has no significant impact toward the living standards because the sig value is 0.105 (> 0.05). From the result, we also can conclude that in overall, the microfinance institution give impact towards the clients living standard, and where health and financial situation is the most important variable.
