Abstract

A good product in its essence needs to have a good measurement in quality. To have agood quality, a company should follow ISO 9001 standard. Since PT. XYZ has itsknown for delivering good quality product, the company needs to uphold that prideIn addition, the company also follows the ISO 9001 standard. However, whileupholding that pride, series of non-conform incident happens for the past few monthsThe whereabouts of problem only stated in a single paper with minimal detail on itThe quality issue regarding this process disturb the decision-making process and who is responsible to claim the related part. In addition, the possible cause of non-conformincident is hard to be recognized as currently in company there are no methodology to do that. Thus, by implementing a root-cause analysis method and methodology based on ISO 9001 of 2015 version in parts inspection will assist the company. To do thatstandard operating procedure and work instructions will be developed to assist thecompany.
