Abstract

Developing a customized mobile application takes a huge amount of time and labor. Hence, commsult developed Ontego Designer, a drag-and-drop flowchart app builder, to streamline the development of customized mobile applications (Ontego Projects). However, over time, the technology of Ontego Designer became outdated, making it difficult to meet the evolving requirements of customers. To meet evolving customer needs, the Product Team proposes Ontego SDK, a Flutter-based software development kit. Ontego SDK offers a comprehensive collection of functions, services, packages, and UI libraries tailored for Ontego Projects, along with the App Inspector tool. The research aimed to develop the App Inspector, an automated analysis tool, which analyzes Ontego Projects' source code and generates fundamental application details, including View (screenshots), Flow (flowchart), and Services (list of services), for customers. These details later can be viewed in the customer's Ontego4SAP Cockpit dashboard. The prototype of the App Inspector for the View part was successfully created and tested, showing satisfactory functionality and usability with the score of 4.54 out of 5.
