Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the growth of financial inclusion in Indonesia and its impact on the growth of loan and savings from listed commercial banks in the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) as well as its impact on the growing financial technology in Indonesia. This study includes 4 indicators using the availability and usage dimension as the proxy of financial inclusion’s growth in Indonesia, and includes 2 indicators as the proxy of financial technology. This research has 32 listed commercial banks in IDX as the sample data for the period of 2012-2017. This data is calculated using regression model with loan growth, savings growth and financial technology as the dependent variables, while inflation, GDP Rate, GDP per Capita, and Education will be the control variables. Empirical result shows that financial inclusion has an insignificant positive relationship with loan growth, while it has a significant negative relationship with savings growth. Moreover, financial inclusion has a significant positive relationship with financial technology.
