Abstract
In the recent years cryptocurrency becomes a new trend. Beside a technology aspect, cryptocurrency is getting more attention and affect to the way people makes transactions. There are hundreds of cryptocurrencies has been appeared until now; among them, the most popular and powerful is Bitcoin. Since first published in 2009,Bitcoin gained value from zero to thousands of dollars. This thesis aims to find out Bitcoin and the network, also some security issues. This study uses textual analysis to answer research questions; Interview, References, Framework for Securities Regulation of Cryptocurrencies, Focus group discussions are used for data analysis and after that validation by Expert judgment. Research findings are: how bitcoin working, how it secure, whether it possible to replace fiat currency.
