Abstract

Smart grid, which is regarded as the future power grid, is the implementation of information technology and conventional grid that utilizes two-way flow of information and electricity to increase the efficiency of power system. Cluster Power System Approach (CPSA) is a solution for implementing smart grid. Important part of this approach is the access control management system which used to manage policy regarding the permission of each cluster controller. The aim of this thesis is to develop a browser-based user interface for smart grid access control management system. The functions to be expected are able to handle access control policy management on cluster controller operation. This work is developed in Angular as front-end framework, Node.js with Express framework as the web server, and ArangoDB as database. Furthermore, the developed access control management user interface is proposed to enable policy management in access control system.
