Abstract
Logistics industry specifically on freight forwarding services is a whole kind of industry which differs from other service industries. Owning its own characteristics of buyer and seller, stimulate the special demand and supply that only exist in this freight forwarding industry. In this study, the case study from the leading logistics company in the world will be studied and analyzed. The current trend that this company is having is stagnancy in the business growth both in the revenue and the number of customers they have. The author is currently working as part of the commercial team on this company, trying to figure out what are those factors that actually significance to influence customers or potential customers to eventually decide to use this company‘s services.This study was designed using the descriptive method with quantitative approach. A questionnaire using 5 Likert scale will be shared to 100 non-random respondents, which in this case is the active customers of PT XYZ Jakarta. There are 4 significant factors that are directly influence the customer‘s decision making. Those are brand image, price, buyer-seller relationship, and service excellence. It is expected that this study could be a foundation and guidance for PT XYZ Jakarta to avoid the continuous stagnancy trend.
