Abstract

The purpose of this thesis work is to implement ultrasonic sensor and image processing in a mobile robot. The thesis includes three aspects: mechanical design, electrical design, and programming. A mobile robot can detect, collect and sort the objects. Ultrasonic sensor will have a function to detect and measure the position of the object. Image processing will have a function to sort the objects based on color. A webcam is used to support color detection. A mobile robot have container to contain the objects. A mobile robot use 4-link bar gripper to collect the objects.
