Abstract
Strategic innovation is vital in running a business to develop and to enhance SMEs performance. The purpose of this study is to measure both tangible and intangible factors and its impact towards SMEs performance. This study is a descriptive research which is supported by both qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative data is gathered through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and in-depth interviews, while quantitative data is gathered by distributing questionnaires. The data is analysed through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The findings show that strategic innovation has a very strong impact towards SMEs performance of Batik Banten with tangible factors as a stronger contributor.
