Abstract

The employees are exceptionally important in the hospitality industry. In this globalizing era, enriched with the vast improvement of technology that changes many facets of this industry, the Human Resource practitioners are ought to realize the changing workforce and market. The Y generation is the best candidates for recruitment since they understand the current market and are technology savvy. This is followed with the need for a more effective and efficient recruitment process. The facts suggest that using e-recruitment is the best alternative. Hence, it is wise to understand the Y generation's point of view about e-recruitment to devise on point strategies. Using the Technology Acceptance Model, with SPSS and AMOS as the tool. this research aims to know which factor influence the undergraduates to use e-recruitment the most. From the two factors, Perceived Usefulness influences the undergraduates more than the Perceived Ease of Use. Generally speaking, the undergraduates decide to use the e-recruitment because they feel it is more useful than the traditional one and it is best for the Human Resource practitioners to focus more on enhancing the usefulness of the e-recruitment websites.
