Abstract

Loyalty is an issue that the hospitality and tourism industry faced nowadays, Hotel X is not an exception to this issue. This study examined the factors that affecting the loyalty of the employees that are job satisfaction and organizational commitment. It was found that job satisfaction and organizational commitment have the impact on the employees to have a loyalty towards the company. This research was a quantitative research, where the data was collected through questionnaire from 97 respondents, which were the employees of Hotel X. The data was supported by journals, books, and others with the stratified sampling method and simple regression analysis was used to analyze the data. The research result showed that job satisfaction was found insignificant with employee loyalty, while organizational commitment has a relationship with employee loyalty. Based on the result, the hotel should keep maintaining the vision and mission but also improving the job satisfaction to enhance the loyalty of the employees.
