Abstract

Employee turnover is an important metric that is often central to organizations’ workforce planning and strategy (Jacobs, 2012). The purpose of this research is to find out the factors of employee turnover. The focus of this research is to find out whether training, workplace relationship, mentorship and job satisfaction can influence employee turnover in Hotel X. The methodology used in this research is quantitative and qualitative methods, with 210 respondents which is the employee of Hotel X. As the result found that Job Satisfaction and Mentorship influence Employee Turnover. And the most influential factor is Job Satisfaction at 24,2%. Based on this study, Hotel X should pay attention on the Job Satisfaction of their employees, also Hotel X should pay attention with Mentorship issues, and they should give more leadership training and choose the right leader to lead the sub-ordinate, so it can prevent Employee Turnover in Hotel X.
