Abstract

Business potential for manufacturing industry has been the increasing gradually in Indonesia Therefore, PT ABC as a manufacturing company has to utilise the opportunity to compete and grow. Under intense competition from local and international brand, PT ABC leadership will be studied. This research aims to analyse the impact of transformational and transactional leadership style toward employee performance. Numerous variables are utilised to measure transactional and transformational leadership style. Quantitative research was conducted in this research using questionnaire distributed to 70 respondents working in PT ABC. Results were gathered and analysed using SPSS as primary data. The study indicates that there is significant impact between transactional leadership style toward employee performance furthermore, there is also significant impact between transformational leadership style toward employee performance. In addition it was also fund that there is significant impact toward simultaneous leadership style toward employee performance. It is concluded that leadership style will stimulate employee performance in PT ABC.
