Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know the significant impact of leadership style (transactional leadership and transformational leadership) on an employees performance at PT Surveyor Indonesia (infrastructure division. Research conducted by the author is using qualitative research methods. Qualitative research is expected to produce an in-depth description of the words, writings, and behavior that can be observed from an individual, a group of people, a particular organization in a particular setting context studied from a comprehensive, comprehensive and holistic perspective. There are two leadership styles studied by the researcher that implemented in PT Surveyor Indonesia, namely transactional leadership style and transformational leadership style. Based on the results of correlation analysis known that the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.952, meaning the leadership style of transactional, transformational leadership style and employee performance has a strong and positive relationship. From the result of hypothesis testing to correlation coefficient, it is known that there is a significant correlation between transactional leadership style (X1), transformational leadership style (X2) and employee performance (Y) with 95% confidence level. Corporate leaders should provide direction and division of tasks in accordance with employee's ability standards so that employees can work better.
