Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influential level of leadership styles applied in Indonesian company toward employees’ performance. This thesis probes into the relation among personalities, leadership styles, and job performance in order to identify the dominant leadership style applied in the company and analyze the generate factors that can influence job performance. Primary data are collected through interviews with relevant sources and questionnaires distributed to participating employees. Analyzing data is using Chi Square test statistic. The result of this research concluded that leadership style had not dominantly impact on employee job performance. That is the reason why not all employees can be treated in the same technique. It depends on the employee abilities, educational background, the work circumstance and the relationship condition between manager and employees. This beneficial outcome will be used as an input to the company in selecting the proper leadership style.
