Abstract

Image Processing is one of the subject that being researched all over the world as it leads to many possibilities of a broaden application in a lot of fields including medical, intelligent system, mass production system, robotic competition and a whole lot more. This thesis objective is to study on how to detect a blob using the OpenCV library, which will be generated by Qt program, and implementing it by designing and constructing a simple mobile robot. The main focused is using CVhoughcircle to detect the position of mobile robot and a ball. By using Bluetooth module as a serial communication, the computer will send signal to the mobile robot to move and grab the ball based on the condition of the field. This study shows a satisfactory result in which averaging a 60% successful rate in the executions of the program.
