Abstract
The concentration of carbon dioxide inside vehicle cabin increase in time domain and it can be affects to passenger concentration. The research is developing the automatic controller for circulation flap opening. The previous work telling their result of the experiment with manual opening of circulation flap and windows glass opening. Confirming the result of their research, the measurement conduct by the author. The author design a carbon dioxide reader using the Arduino Mega as microcontroller and Non Disruptive Infra-Red sensor MH-Z16, which the reader is a part of auto controller. The carbon dioxide level measure in manual flap opening during parking and driving and the result showing the carbon dioxide level > 1000 ppm when circulation is closed. In variation of passenger, the more passenger showing higher level of carbon dioxide. The application of auto controller resulting the concentration of carbon dioxide more steady below the 1000 ppm for driving or parking position on 1 passenger. The controller can be develop into widen part to be control like fan speed and window glass opening of the vehicle.
