Abstract

This research is based on the needs of the production department in order to increase production outputs, but they do not have the tools and supporting devices. One of the device is a device to counting machining process. This device calls: “counter-time device”. The purpose of the research is to create a “counter-time device” to counting machining time, as the data to calculate the productivity value. By observations, interviews and simulations the author managed to create the device. “Counter-time device” is quite simple but by using sophisticated electronics component and microcontroller, its can follow the existing technology. The device is capable of producing output as needed; date, time, temperature as the data to calculate the productivity value.
