Abstract

This thesis project is focusing on implementing an automatic control system for the motor control system through electrical circuit designs. The types of antenna used for this project are loop and sense antenna. The electrical circuits are divided into radio receiver, phase comparator, and motor control circuit. A dc motor is used to rotate the movement of the antenna in two directions. The frequency tuned by radio receiver then as the antenna rotates, the incoming signal could be in phase or out of phase condition. The signal coming intercepted by antenna and a reference voltage are the inputs compared in op-amp as voltage comparator. The two inputs of comparator phase may be added or subtracted according to condition of incoming signal. The output of comparator is connected to the base of NPN and PNP transistor on motor control circuit. The dc motor is controlled to rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise.
