Abstract

The opportunity of Football club to become tourist attraction is the reason behind this research. This research focused on the possibility of Persija Jakarta to becoming tourist attraction in Jakarta. This research method used a quantitative and qualitative research. For quantitative was supported with primary data from a questionnaire using Likert scale that was collected from 100 respondents from Jakarta peoples, and secondary data from journals, books and other sources. And qualitative used interview to get an information. As the result, it is founds there is a significant influence of football club on tourist attraction at 80,1% and the factor of Football club that affect to become independent club is sponsorship at 82%. Based on this case study, Persija Jakarta have a possibility to become tourist attraction in Jakarta and also Persija Jakarta should have own stadium to become independent club in Indonesia.
