Abstract

The real estate sector in Indonesia has witnessed remarkable growth and transformation, driven by population dynamics, urbanization, government initiatives, and foreign investments. This market offer opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial segments. However, the absence of a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based platform hinders efficient property searches and informed decision- making for potential buyers in Indonesia. This research aims to address this issue by designing a GIS-based property market information platform that utilizes GIS technology to provide users with essential property details such as prices, existing facilities, and locations in an organized format by using the Design Thinking approach to integrate GIS technology and user-centered design principles to meet potential user requirements. This research endeavors to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of property market systems in Indonesia and improving the overall user experience. The findings of this study will contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the real estate industry and provide valuable insights for practitioners.
