Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to rebuild the DELTA robot that was done by former Swiss German University student. The robot is the actuator of a pick-and-place system, which is equipped with a vision supplied by a web camera and a straight conveyor, and this system should be able to sort table utensils, namely spoons, forks, and knives. The conveyor would feed the objects onto the arm, while the robot sort them accordingly, with the camera operates as an object detector.
