Abstract

In modern societies, young generations have a very good potential to develop creative technologies that help human beings in their daily activities. They should be given space to learn and explore their passion in technology in schools. In order to gain this outcome, providing Mechatronics extracurricular program for students who have high curiosity to learn technological trends in the future is important. The objective of this thesis work is to design and develop project based learning (PBL) of Mechatronics extracurricular program in senior high school for beginner level. In addition, this thesis work will focus on developing and designing five simple projects for high school students using LEGO block building structures as the mechanical work with Arduino UNO as the microcontroller. For every project, there is going to be the development of practical module for the students to follow and understand. Furthermore, the projects should be cheap and affordable as this is an extracurricular program for high school students.
