Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyzed on how workplace stressors effect the employee motivation and turnover intention in PT. Adhya Avia Prima. In this research, there are several variables relating to job stresses, employee motivation and employee turnover intention. Data were collected from 104 permanent employees by using SPSS and AMOS. The data is analyzed through structural equation model (SEM) and also supported by semi-structured interviews with the HRD manager in PT. Adhya Avia Prima. The research found significantly positive relationship between stressors and employee motivation, employee motivation and turnover intention and stressor on turnover intention. The finding of the research shows stressor and turnover intention have associated with correlation coefficient of 0.81 and strength association as “strong”. The research discusses important implications regarding the impact of stressors for enhancing employee’s motivation and reducing turnover intention of employee.
